Introducing William Sullivan….
In such a short time, William Sullivan has become one of fastest rising dynamic young speakers in the country. Since 2004, he has traveled across the country sharing a message of hope, desire and commitment. The passion and faith that people see in Will comes from his ability to persevere through gangs, drugs, peer pressure and a broken home.
Growing up in Wichita, Kansas in a single parent home with two other siblings, times became tough for his family and his home life soon turned violent and unstable. With no where to turn and the absence of a father figure, Will became involved with one of the largest street gangs in Wichita and began a lifestyle fueled by violence and drugs. Around the same time, William was also becoming one of the top football players in the state of Kansas. Faced with the daily struggle of balancing the responsibilities of the street life and that of a rising student athlete he had to make a life changing decision.
After receiving a scholarship to Bowling Green State University, he began to distance himself from the violent lifestyle that plagued his youth through education, desire and a life changing faith. After 5 years of playing professional football, Will felt it was time to hang up his cleats and begin a new chapter in his life, encouraging and equipping the youth of this nation with his “Culture of Change” assemblies.
Will has spoken at multiple leadership conferences, churches, school assemblies and private events over the past 5 years. Will has been a guest speaker for some of the most sought after presentation companies in the world, such as, Big Mouth Presentations, Solid Rock International and Quan Presentations. William has been the keynote speaker for such events as the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl and the NBNY Youth Leadership summit, where he was voted the best speaker in 2007. He has been featured on Fox Sports and on TBN’s 30min show, “In Our Town”, for his success with the youth and is currently the Teen Ministry Director at Desert Life Church in Scottsdale, Arizona. Equipped with an uncanny ability to communicate any message with passion and precision to a wide variety of people, Will has quietly risen to place where few have operated……………….. a place of influence.
